Amazing like ever!

Last week on Tuesday we spontaneously walked to AXEL and it was very pleasant because we had a lot of space around us. Our food was freshly prepared and really tasty, I love sweet potatoes, they were fantastic. We really enjoyed the evening. Thank you!

Since we were disappointed with the reservation and they said they just come by, we decided to go to the ALEX in Regensburg, because we could make reservations there. Unfortunately, Regensburg is not as great as it is here in Nuremberg. We would like to come more often, but unfortunately a reservation is necessary for us as we simply have to drive 65 km .... The delicious food and the huge selection convinced us.

Super service, super food.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The schnitzel had a nice crispy breading, not a good schnitzel for a long time, but I was really excited about the sauce, finally a lot of mushrooms in it so that you didn't have to look for them and the taste was great for me. The roulade was nice and tender, I didn't think the mashed potatoes would go well with it. The salad could be cut a bit smaller / finer, otherwise it was like you would imagine a side salad. We'd love to go back. The lemonade also tasted very good and was very refreshing

Nice Place

It's a shame that when the staff changes the atmosphere also changes, we always enjoyed being here, almost like at home, but it is no longer like that. Listless and annoyed, yes we all have Corona and I also wear the face mask for 8-10 hours but a little more vigor at work should be. The food was definitely good.

During our stay in Nuremberg we had breakfast twice at Alex. Why - because it was just good. ? We found the alternative offers as a substitute for brunch to be optimally put together, not necessarily inexpensive, but ultimately worth the price. As far as the 'Corona rules' are concerned, from our point of view they have been implemented very well. The service was attentive, quick and always friendly. Special thanks to 'our' waitress on both days, a nice wedding and all the best for the future together!

Went here for dinner today, food was OK. Kudos to your service, who implemented the Corona measures perfectly, and a lady who was very mean to the service, your service was very friendly. Super responses from the service manager. ?????

Price and taste sucks € 5.00 for a 0.5 Mezzo mix .... 9.50 € for a shaped meat schnitzel and a handful of french fries. Service was okay, waiting times as well. Definitely not a recommendation.

We have stayed at the Alex several times, the last one last night, and it was great every time. The service is friendly and quick, the food is tasty and creative. The ambience is nice, especially in the back yard. I find the good labeling of allergens and vegetarian / vegan dishes on the menu particularly positive, so that you don't stand out as an “extra sausage” because you first have to ask about ingredients; and that the staff conscientiously ensure that there is a minimum distance between the seats and that masks are worn outside their own table.

Normally we always like to be in the ALEX. The same throughout Germany and for a low price you get good service. IT WAS DIFFERENT HERE IN NUREMBERG. Service very, very unfriendly. In the morning breakfast was okay. In the evening I wanted to have a beer with my nephew (17) and a friend of his (almost 18) to finish off the day, as it was my last day in town. Instead of a great, cozy end, the small beer was REFUSED due to the "company philosophy of ALEX Nuremberg". The two were not allowed to order beer, despite the legal regulation that allows drinking beer from 16 onwards. Instead, as an adult, I was gossiped about how immoral it was to order beer for almost 18 year olds. Is it because of Franks or does the boss just not have them all anymore? Terrible store. Never again.

Very unfriendly on the phone and no meeting. Just wanted to reserve a table, so it was said "don't need it, it's not so full". Since we were unsuccessful the day before when we tried to get a table without a reservation, I wanted to be on the safe side, but apparently it is not wanted.

Excellent breakfast. Barrier gestures. Masks and disinfection everywhere. Very professional and friendly staff. We loved it.

Perfect location, good food and drinks and nice personnel

Café Alex is a close to ingenious concept. Now I have tried them in Leipzig, Regensburg and most recently in Nuremberg. All places well visited, often also by younger people. A good menu - and late severing. Good food - from burgers over more traditional European dishes, to a lovely Thai curry. And the times I have eaten there, always well cooked. Good atmosphere, good drinks and good food. Alex Nürnberg, has all this - and then a view over the square, with St Sebaldus Kirche on one side, and Frauenkirche on the other ....

As always a wonderful place to brunch! However, a push for the team: the coffee machine urgently needs maintenance. The milk coffee was unfortunately not drinkable ...

Rude and Racist Staff I visited this restaurant when there were few tables available for dining. I was assigned a table that was not much comfortable. After a while, I saw some patrons leaving their table and so I asked one of restaurants colleagues if I and my father can shift to the vacant table. After his confirmation we shifted to the new table. However, when we were just about to place our order, another colleague spoke to us in a misbehaving manner and asked us to sit where we were initially assigned as they need accommodate more guests. This behavior was highly scornful. Sometimes, businesses fail to understand that it is because of the patrons their business are running and able to pay salaries of their so called rude staff. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Nice place with nice people

Ugh. They offer a buffet which doesn't include coffee. Unbelievable. And honestly, the buffet, is nothing to write home about. Sad fruit bowl, boring yogurts, and bread... hmmm, what can I say, I've had better. That said, the place is crowded and noisy. Why? No clue... maybe people come to stuff themselves 'coz it's all you can eat...

Very very slow service.

Too much crowded but it worths to wait. Maximum waiting time 10mins. The most enjoy times I have ever experienced in Nürnberg, especially on nights..
